Here's a Story....

We went on a family bike ride last month to get ice cream (had 2 free ice cream coupons).

We also stopped at the pet store to look around and did a little grocery shopping before heading back home.

The most fun was actually the being together part.

You can count on this story going in our family storybook for 2010.

Smiles

Smiles
captured, treasured
happiness measured.

Smiles tell a story.
As does a frown.
Have you written them down?

Smiles
captured, treasured
the joy they bring to my heart cannot be measured.

my passion - still alive!-to help in getting those smiles preserved, their stories told.

April's almost gone...

So April is almost gone, have you checked out the wonderful Mother's Day specials
Also there is still time to join Club Premier.

Oh and no my yearbook for 2009 is not close to being finished- I am going slower than last year. :(

If you are wondering about "My Why" post - It's why I am a consultant for Heritage Makers, what I am working towards right now!

family pictures & stories

I know I have written this before, but I'll let you know again - if you want to see the family updates and pics click on the link to the right (JRJenkinsfamily).

Try to comment directly on that blog, let me know if you can't for some reason.

I am trying to keep this blog specific to storybooking and motivating you to tell your stories.

Sincerely - Ronda

Seasons of 2009

So this is the title of my yearbook for last year. Instead of doing a chronological yearbook I decided to do it by season, so it actually starts with December instead of ending with it. Watch for the post when I actually have it finished and lets see how long it takes me this year. Last year I finised on April 1st.
I have Winter and Spring layouts done so far, title page and front and back cover.

Lots of specials this month for hosts!
Also for all you scrapbookers out there - how would you like to pay once and have unlimited use of thousands of digital scrapbooking art for the whole year?
contact me for more details.

Happy Storybooking :)

A New Year...

A new year - time to get my 09 yearbook done.....what about you? Have you thought about preserving your memories from last year?

Just a side note - to see my family pics and happenings click on "JRJenkins family" to the right.

I really want to make a point of sharing how wonderful storybooking is and having the family blog on the "myfamily.com" site is separate, but not difficult to find since it's linked. I also have a link on Facebook.

I wish you all the best this new year and hope
you catch the spirit of storybooking -
from me! Here's my end of the year card - made in one afternoon (through Heritage Makers). With the ruler feature it made it easy to size the pics and know how many I could fit on the postcard.
