One of the things I wanted for my b-day was Daisy's to put by my front door.
So on Thursday JimDaddy let me go pick some out. When we got home Princess AJ helped me plant it was fun.
Now I have these beautiful flowers that cheer me up every time I leave or come home. I also had fun taking pictures of them with my spiffy camera. Also on Thursday Game Boy and SuperDashMan had dentist appointments. Look what a cool prize they got for going.
Friday we went to park day with our mom's group from church. Baby J. went and went and went on the dragon slide. I think he only went on it one other time before this (grudgingly). He kept going up to the top and sitting there, then he finally started going and he couldn't get enough.

Princess AJ
went on with him a little too (a long with other park kids that were there).
Yesterday SuperDashMan had his first all-star games for baseball...he was so excited he kept asking me all morning about putting his uniform on and his game wasn't even until 2:30. It's so fun watching him as enthusiastic (and into it) as he is.
That was most of the stuff from this weekend so far tomorrow it's off to celebrate a friends birthday...the kids get to have fun at Disneyland too with an Aunt.

What a Happy Birthday....

Today my happy birthday included a trip to Disneyland with only one child
, then a friend,
then my birt
hday friend.

We visi
ted JimDaddy at his new restaurant and he got me a birthday brownie. Baby J and I shared. Before that we had breakfast outside at Riverbelle and had fun watching all the birdies fly around while we ate.
When my friend called to wish me Happy Birthday she asked where I was....I said she could come join us (she has a pass). My favorite ride is Space Mountain, so she watched Baby J while I went on. Since we both had limited time the Disney cast member at the Space Mountain line let me use a baby switch pass as a fast pass, so fun getting special treatment on your b-day.
We finally got to meet up with my b-day friend and her family so we could at least take a couple pictures. I love my friends!

In
the evening I got to go out with JimDaddy...
I chose to go to the H.B. Pier-
we
ate at Ruby's Diner. We got to sit in the upstairs seating it was so busy.

Here's the view from our booth.
It was sure windy and chilly. We saw some friends there, had super yummy food! While walking back to the car (we were parked on a residential street) I stepped in some mud and nearly slipped on my butt. I got mud on my sandal and my toe, but I am sure glad I was holding my best friend's, My love's hand at the time....otherwise I would have been on my butt in the mud.
I had a fantastic day!

Disneyland & Cabrillo Beach

On Monday JimDaddy was working (per his new schedule to go with his new position at work), I was working in Princess AJ's class, so Grandpa took JimDaddy to work and watched Baby J. After Princess AJ's class we went to get Aunt Vanessa, cousin Abby and her 2 aunties into Disneyland. We encountered a cast member who didn't want to take (all change) payment for parking, one who watched us struggle to get the strollers on the tram, and a ton of people where they check your bags. I was on a tight schedule because I still had to go pick up the rest of the kids from school by 2:15. when we got to the front gate JimDaddy's sign in pass didn't work (new position) so we had to wait till they figured it out(I told them that he just started the new position, but they still had to check). By the time we got in and went to say hi to JimDaddy it was getting late. We didn'tget go on any rides, but Jimdaddy's co worker took a pic of all of us, then JimDaddy got us each an apple to eat on our way out.

I was super tired at the end of the day and flustered with not being used to JimDaddy's new positon and schedule.

I went on a field trip yesterday with 1st graders to Cabrillo Beach Marine Aquarium.
Here are some cool pics I got with my new camera.

Hatching Grunnion.

Sea Stars and more.

Whoa....it's May

Kids swinging after games, but before picking up JimDaddy from work.

Sure it's been May for a week now , but last week was busy. Conference week at school last week meant early day every day and less time to stuff and / or run errands before the kids got out of school. Plus every evening having baseball something.
This week started off great with SuperDashMan's b-day on Monday. We (JimDaddy, Princess AJ, Baby
J and I) took treats to his class...they sang him Happy Birthday, ate their cookies and drink, then the teacher let them play on the playground right before school got out. Before this JimDaddy and I both had dentist appointments at different times. While he was at his he got a call from his boss at work, letting him know about a new position he would be receiving. He started just yesterday and I am going to have to get used to a new schedule for a while, but it's still so exciting! He's so deserving of this and has been waiting for it for a while. It's one step closer. Later that night we went to Marble Slab Creamery for a mix- your -own ice cream party
( thanks to the Chadwicks-owners-). The party was for GameBoy -since he was out of town on his birthday- and SuperDashMan.
SuperDashMan also got a party Sunda
y night, so grandpa Jenkins could see him open his presents.
The ice cream party was so cute I think the kids all enjoyed themselves.
The rest of the week was baseball, teacher appreciation week at sch
ool and getting to enjoy the leftovers from their luncheon - Carne Asada- and share it.
I also had a kinda surprise visit by my BIL I recently got back in touch with through facebook. He brought his old TV for us (the DVD/nintendo connections on our old one were no good) and me an early birthday present. An indestructable camera (hopefully) that I have been dreaming about since my old one got thrown on the ground last year at a baseball game and hasn't been the same ever since.
The trip meant a lot seeing as he lives 6 hours away.
Mom and I got to go to Sizzler , just us- for Mothers Day. It was fun and relaxing not having to serve anyone or wipe anyone off.
Now Princess AJ is a bit sick and I need to go get clothes out of the dryer.
Morning comes early when a boy has to be at baseball warm-ups at 7am.
Supposed to see the stake play tomorrow, but am worried I may not with a sick one at home....we'll see.
