Since March I ( with help from the kids & parents) have been creating a storybook for Miss Elliott, my sons kindergarten teacher. I finally ordered the book 6/5 and received from Heritage Makers by 6/11. Less than a week. I was so excited, I talked to the other parents and Miss Elliott and set up a time to present her with the book on Friday6/13. I wanted her to be the 1st to open it. I didn't even take off the plastic it came wrapped in.
She had all the kids sit in a circle on the rug when she opened it. She even let one of the kids take it out of the paper sleeve it was in. She showed the kids every page. The parents were also excited to see it. Some parents were even more eager to order their own copy of the book.
Miss Elliott commented that she had never seen anything like this before and that she was going to read it every night before she went to bed.
I also saw her last night at an awards ceremony and she said she took it with her when she was visiting family over Fathers Day weekend and it nearly made her mom cry.
