I can tie my shoes , but....

don't ask me to show you! Yesterday I told someone that SuperDashMan could tie his shoes, so she asked him to show her.
He was so tired he was making a big deal out of it whining and carrying on...I even tried to bribe him with another brownie. I told him don't worry about it and we got in the car to go home, well he was still carrying on in the car. When we got home I told him if he still did it I would let him have one of the cookie bars I made and I would take a picture to show her he could do it. He was mostly upset about not getting another dessert, so that's why he finally did tie them. What silly kids I have!

do something

Oh how time passes,
how quickly the moments fly.
Will our hopes and dreams stay with us if they're only thoughts, but no actions?
If no action is taken, the hopes and dreams, like the moment will fly...If nothing is ever done they just may die.

Don't forget your passions, the dreams in your heart!
Do something, just get up and start.

St. Patricks Day, Bunco & Heritage Makers Update

Well all six of us had our green on today, it was fun, but I didn't actually find the time to get a picture of all of us. We went to the store, did a little meal planning ( I am so proud of myself when I do that), and got a little cash back for Bunco with the girls tonight! Both the big boys had BB practice today at the same place which was nice. We did some back and forth driving, but Jim went to pick them up so I could get dinner ready , eat some and get ready for Bunco.
It was so fun , as usual, but I didn't actually get a Bunco this time. That's right ZERO. I did get my card drawn for a prize again though, it's fun to get a prize!

Heritage Makers yearbook update-I am on November...have some pictures, some text, almost there!

Workshop for this month- Getting the Dads and kids prepared for mothers day. it'll be so easy With a template and preplanned text ....all they need to provide is the pictures.

That's it for today.

Happy Storybooking everyone!

1st Haircut

So both Grandma's (and others) have been telling me Baby J needs a haircut. We were going to take all the boys including Daddy to do that last Monday, but Daddy ended up in the ER, so that didn't happen. Last Friday I took the big boys so they would have short hair for their baseball games on Sat. This Monday Daddy and Baby J. got haircuts - it was his 1st one. He did awesome! No crying at all. Both of the other boys cried during their first haircuts. Baby J. just sat there quietly and would sometimes turn his head to try to see what the lady was doing or to look in the mirror, I am not sure which. Wow he is getting so big!
The pictures are in order from before to after.

Yes I mentioned baseball...GameBoy and SuperDashMan are both playing again. GameBoy has had 2 games so far and SuperDashMan 1. GameBoy is improving his skills and even got a double his first game. SuperDashMan is on his cousin
Jeremy's team and it's fun to watch them both play and practice together.

How long is too long for practice?....Last night GameBoy's practice went 3 hours and I along with some of the other parents were perturbed that it went so long. I said something to the coaches wife and she said he was probably taking advantage of Daylight savings, but I don't care I think it's too long for 9-11 year olds to be practicing. She mentioned to her husband what time it was and he said he didn't care cause it was still light out. GEES!

Let me know what you think.

Have a great week!
