Soccer _ GameBoy's 1st Goal!

GameBoy has come close a few times, but today he did it. He took the ball part way up the field, then shot it. It was so exciting I screamed!
Now both soccer boys have made a goal. He got star player of the game.

Before the assistant coach (coach was out of town) announced the player of the game all of his teammates were pointing at him. It was so cute.

Be the Heritage Maker in your family.

When I was going through my picture folder to pick pictures for my last post I realized there are some other fun stories that I didn't tell... which is why I am so passionate about Heritage Makers!

Time goes by and sometimes life gets busy and we just forget...there are people in our lives that are counting on us to tell those stories. We need to be not only the "story keeper" in our family, but the "heritage maker". Preserve those stories!

last week

Well, I haven't written much lately about our everday happenings...so here goes.

A week ago Friday 10/10 Princess AJ, Baby J and I went to Atlantis for the mom's group.

Amy had fun playing with her new friend from church. They're about a year and a half difference in age, but you can't tell.
This past Tuesday we went to storytime at the library by our house. We thought someone else from our mom's group was going to be there, but we didn't see her. We did see another friend and she asked if I still did those books...of course I do and I had just recently printed some business cards, so I gave her one. She said she wants to make a book for her in-laws who are on a mission of the trip their family took to visit them. She had been trying a different company and didn't like her selection. I was glad I was there. The kids had fun at the storytime and the activities afterwards. Baby J mostly like the songs.
Wednesday was a frustrating and busy day, plus JimDaddy called to come home from work early sick. That night after Jack's soccer practice his team had a pizza party them some of the team went to the pumpkin patch. We went because I had already told the kids we were going.
Thursday JimDaddy stayed home to get better and we didn't do too much.
Friday I prepared to do an online Heritage Makers workshop, but i t ended up not happening.
Saturday JimDaddy was didn't work (he worked Monday this week) and we had 2 soccer games. 10:30 & 1. I charged my camera batteries , but they still didn't work. I was so frustrated. I did bring extras, but I didn't try them because I thought since I charged them at the same time they wouldn't work either.
GameBoy played hard and Baby J kept trying to get into the action on 2 different fields. SuperDashMan got his 1st goal, but I missed it because I was taking Princess AJ to the bathroom. We went about 3 different times.
That evening after Jim got back from his leadership mtg. My neighbor came to ask if we wanted to go to "Chuck" with her family(little boy Connor is a week older than Baby J.). She thought it was funny that I looked at her weird when she called it that.
Me, Baby J and Princess AJ ended up going because JimDaddy was tired and I hadn't told all the kids yet. We shared dinner with them because they said they were going to buy it anyways. So nice! They also shared their tokens that they had gotten with their coupon.
Have a great week.
Happy Memory Making!

Picture Tag

I have been meaning to do this since I saw it on the Stockards blog.

You pick the 4th picture from your 4th folder.

This is Princess AJ with her new bike she received from her cousins at Christmas time (2007). She kept saying " I have a bike". It was so cute.

Friend

Friend.
Laughing , joking,
listening, sharing...
Giving strength when strength is needed.
Watching a movie & eating a too big, chocolate syrup drenched, brownie sundae.
Knowing just what to say and when.
You're a treasure worth more than you know...

Heritage Makers Reunion

I just want to let you all
know that last weekend at the Heritage Makers Reunion (national convention) my passion for story was reaffirmed...I want to motivate all of you to preserve your stories.

I will go into detail later. Here's just a bit of what I experienced.

Me after the Royal Ball that was held Friday night.
If you any of you recognize the dress it was loaned to me by Cassandra Aguilar, she also let me borrow the shoes to match. It was the dress she wore at Catrina's wedding in Feb.
