So this post has been a long time coming. I'll think "I need to write more"then life gets busy, I get distracted 😉 and it doesn't get done. I still have my favorite paper and pen journal, but I think this outlet will continue to be useful for sharing whereas the other is more personal.
In the past this blog was mainly used to share info about Heritage Makers to inspire others to preserve their stories, but I decided I wanted it to encompass a bit more. My new title was inspired by some note cards I purchase with this quote on the front "Happiness was made to be shared." - Jean Racine.
When I share these things that bring me happiness it's not necessarily because I want you to buy some food, photo product or join a religion - it's simply to share. There's always the possibility that it might make you happy too and
"The noblest art is that of making others happy" -P.T. Barnum.
Happiness is best shared!
A place where I can share things that bring me happiness with you.

Heritage Making is a part of me
Technically I have been up to a lot with Heritage Makers lately. The creating side that is not the actual working side.
In the last month I created and published -
*little grad caps with middle schools initials and mascot on them for 8th grade grad dance.
*a gift of a quote for my friends (actually created longer than a month ago,but just published) that I am some how going to get crafty with, but haven't decided how.
* 2 teachers thank you posters, which I leave a lot of white space on so the kids in the class can sign. The teachers love it.
*Fathers day gifts too. (one I had started a while ago and decided to finish).
started-
* Wedding sign in book for a cool gal from church (from an awesome template)
still slowly working on-
Yearbook 2009 is yet to be completed, need to finish Summer and Fall months.
I shall then use my book for a template for 2010 ( and this year is already half over) wow.
What stories do you have to tell?
little tip to other bloggers - You can turn your blog entries into an HM storybook. It's as easy as copy and paste.
It may look like it takes a lot of $ for Heritage Making, but actually with Club HM and being a consultant it's a great deal!

Here's a Story....
We went on a family bike ride last month to get ice cream (had 2 free ice cream coupons).
We also stopped at the pet store to look around and did a little grocery shopping before heading back home.
The most fun was actually the being together part.
You can count on this story going in our family storybook for 2010.

Smiles
Smiles
captured, treasured
happiness measured.
Smiles tell a story.
As does a frown.
Have you written them down?
Smiles
captured, treasured
the joy they bring to my heart cannot be measured.
recj
my passion - still alive!-to help in getting those smiles preserved, their stories told.

April's almost gone...
So April is almost gone, have you checked out the wonderful Mother's Day specials
Also there is still time to join Club Premier.
Oh and no my yearbook for 2009 is not close to being finished- I am going slower than last year. :(
If you are wondering about "My Why" post - It's why I am a consultant for Heritage Makers, what I am working towards right now!

I know I have written this before, but I'll let you know again - if you want to see the family updates and pics click on the link to the right (JRJenkinsfamily).
Try to comment directly on that blog, let me know if you can't for some reason.
I am trying to keep this blog specific to storybooking and motivating you to tell your stories.

Seasons of 2009
So this is the title of my yearbook for last year. Instead of doing a chronological yearbook I decided to do it by season, so it actually starts with December instead of ending with it. Watch for the post when I actually have it finished and lets see how long it takes me this year. Last year I finised on April 1st.
I have Winter and Spring layouts done so far, title page and front and back cover.
Lots of specials this month for hosts!
Also for all you scrapbookers out there - how would you like to pay once and have unlimited use of thousands of digital scrapbooking art for the whole year?
contact me for more details.
Happy Storybooking :)
